Connie Meyer

Connie Meyer is a facilitator, coach, and mediator who specializes in clients’ development of effective negotiation, communication, and influence skills.   Her experience in the field of alternative dispute resolution spans 15 years and includes work with clients at all professional levels and across multiple industries.

After earning an M.A. in Intercultural Conflict Management from Lesley University, Connie went on to work for two spin-offs of the Harvard Negotiation Project – first on the non-profit, international-conflict side at Conflict Management Group, and then in the corporate sector as a trainer and coach for Vantage Partners.  Since 2004, Connie has worked to develop corporate leaders’ relationship management skills at clients such as Amgen, Bank of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CapGemini, CapitalOne, Deloitte, ExxonMobil, Genentech, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oreal, MasterCard, Procter & Gamble, sanofi-aventis, and The Walt Disney Company. Her teaching is informed by her own experience managing and developing teams.

Alongside her corporate work, Connie is faculty at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies, where she teaches intensive mediation certification courses.  Connie is herself twice-certified as a mediator and underwent advanced negotiation and mediation training at Harvard Law School.   She logged hundreds of hours as a mediator for the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago and has frequently served as a coach for mediators-in-training.  Connie also spent several years creating and implementing training and development programs to promote effective interreligious collaboration.

Connie earned her B.A. in International Studies and History from Northwestern University and is based in Montreal.
